T&K's vision is to provide the new technology that supports the industrial world in the nanotech-nology era. With this vision in mind, we have developed our original technology.

Nanotechnology, a technology on nano-meter scale, is one of the four main technologies as de-fined in the "basic plan in science and technology" of the Japanese government. It has command-ed more attention, as it has been pursued to reduce size and weight of electric and electrical equipments as well as high performance. In addition, it is expected to make "dream technology and material" into reality, combining with some various fields such as telecommunications, elec-tronics, energy-technology and biotechnology.

NANOS is our original technology that creates nano-scale organic thin film deposition on almost all materials for reforming their surface properties. It has been already put to practical use in vari-ous applications including mobile phones, digital cameras, printers, copy machines, LCD, LED and semiconductor materials. And also the range of applications is developing, since NANOS is expected as one of necessary technologies for nano-imprint, MEMS, and so on.

We intend to improve our technology for contributing to the technological innovation in the nano-technology era.
